The Bored Board, aptly named by one of the centre’s referral students, is designed to help children and or young people make choices about how they can occupy their free time.
Not only is a choice board particularly relevant in the current climate, providing opportunities for children and young children to make their own choices is a valuable way of promoting empowerment and autonomy.

A blank template of the Bored Board has been provided and can be printed off. There is also a full template which includes some image cards as well as blank cards so that other options can be added and a template for ideas for older students.
