Applications are invited for the appointment to the post of Teacher (ROI – Autism Specific) for Middletown Centre for Autism.

Essential Criteria:
- A relevant teaching qualification or third level qualification recognised by the General Teaching Council (NI); or the Teaching Council (ROI), or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the assessment and teaching of children and young people with Special Educational Needs, to include working with children and young people with autism.
- Classroom based experience working with children and young people with autism.
- A proven record in the attainment of high-level skills through appropriate courses of study in relation to children and young people with autism.
- A current full driving license and access to a vehicle or access to a form of transport which will allow the post holder to fully satisfy the travel requirements of the post.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working across a range of educational settings with children and young people with autism.
