The Centre is delighted to announce that three schools have been awarded Autism Accreditation by Middletown Centre for Autism.
Sandleford School (Coleraine), Christ the Redeemer Primary School (Belfast) and Lismore Comprehensive School (Craigavon) are worthy recipients of the award.
They successfully achieved the required high standards in their provision of education for autistic students.
The purpose of the Autism Accreditation award is to promote the development and use of best practice strategies in the education of autistic children and young people throughout Northern Ireland. It promotes self-assessment and reflective practice in schools, ensuring that the educational support provided by Middletown Centre for Autism is sustained.
