The Centre’s 26th Research Bulletin was the second volume on the topic of Sensory Processing, so it is the perfect way to close this month’s focus on Sensory Processing and Emotional Regulation.
The Bulletin opens with an interview with Kelly Mahler, author of “Interoception: the Eighth Sensory System” and “The Interoception Curriculum”. She discusses sensory and emotional regulation, stimming and interoceptive awareness. This is followed by summaries of research articles, examining the impact of sensory processing differences on autistic children, young people and adults.
