Time for a re-share for those of you who missed it the first time!
These photos provide examples of how to use resistance banding to activate muscles and provide proprioceptive input. This type of resistive input can be calming and regulating for some children and young people. The exercises can be easily carried out at their desk, in their bedroom or the back of the classroom and will only take a couple of minutes. All the exercises can be used, or just a couple chosen. The photos provide an easy-to-follow visual prompt which will promote independence and remove the need for complicated verbal instructions.
