It is important that we prepare autistic children and young people for the changes they may encounter as they transition back to the school setting. This social narrative can be used to discuss changes that might occur in relation to your child’s transport, so that they may experience a more positive journey and arrive in school as calm and regulated as possible.
It may be necessary to write a social narrative that is specific to your child’s own transport situation.
