- Trainer/ Advisor – part-time (18.5 hrs per week) & permanent
Essential Criteria:
• Degree, or equivalent qualification in education or a health-related subject with course content relevant to autism
• A master's degree or equivalent qualification in education or a health-related subject with course content relevant to autism
• Three years post-qualification experience in working with autistic children and young people delivering supportive programme
• Evidence of completion of a formal programme of CPD in autism
• Experience of delivering and assessing post-graduate programmes/ academic courses or equivalent in education or a health-related subject
• Experience of developing and delivering a range of training programmes for:
o educational service providers working with autistic children and young people,
o for parents of autistic children and young people
• A current full driving licence and access to a vehicle or access to a form of transport which will allow the post holder to fully satisfy the extensive travel requirements of the post
• The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively throughout Ireland in support of the Centre’s face to face training programme.

3. Research Officer – full-time & temporary (covering a period of maternity leave up to 12 months):
Closing date – Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 4pm
Essential Criteria:
• A degree or equivalent third level qualification in research methods, psychology, education or health related discipline and working knowledge of issues related to autism
• A post graduate level qualification in research methods, psychology, education or a health related discipline
• A demonstrable track record of achievement in producing or contributing to high quality research
• Experience of conducting literature searches and reviews and also of working with follow-up and case study data
• Experience of research governance and associated ethical considerations.
