Yesterday the Centre’s team posted a social narrative to explain how Christmas will be different this year.
Today’s resource clarifies this further with a visual template and symbols to show what children and young people can and can’t do this festive season.
The use of the visual system of “can” and “can’t” will allow for a concrete reference and can be personalised to each family. It also allows changes to be easily and visually made as rules and circumstances change.
